PEGGY JO GAMBRELL

Peggy Jo Gambrell, 52, of Piqua, passed away at 2:35 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2026 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She was born May 2, 1973 in Troy and was adopted by her loving parents, Charles and Ardith (Mills) Gambrell who preceded her in death.

Survivors include her former husband, Jeff Cline of Piqua; six children, Jessica (Brian Knisley) Gambrell of Piqua, Scott (Cassie King) Hammel of Piqua, Tylor Cline of Piqua, Lynzy Cline of Piqua, Summer (Calvin) Heald of Covington, Joe Gurski of St. Paris; fourteen grandchildren; and five siblings. She was preceded in death by her dearest friend, Larry Perry.

Peggy was a 1991 graduate of Piqua High School and attended Edison State Community College and Kaplan University. She worked for over 25 years as a tax specialist for Wyandt & Silvers; a position in which she thrived and was extremely talented in. She was active for many years in area billiard and dart leagues and was a member of the Piqua Fish & Game where she made lasting memories with friends she loved. She also enjoyed her “Girls Club” with her closest friends and enjoyed traveling to various vacation locations, which would often include a casino or two. She adored her grandchildren and loved spending all the time she could with them. Additionally, she enjoyed swimming, and watching her favorite television programs, “Three’s Company” and “The Big Bang Theory”. She was a kind, generous, and loving person who looked out for her family and her friends. She will be deeply missed.

A service to honor her life will begin at 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2026 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Wagner officiating.
