NANCY JO DAVIS

Nancy Jo Davis, 79, of Piqua, passed away at 9:55 p.m. Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She was born September 19, 1946 in Otway, Ohio to the late Charles and Mabel (Free) Taylor.

Nancy is survived by her son, Dennis Taylor of Piqua; five grandchildren, Camron (Christine) Taylor, Dylan (Nicole) Taylor, Teona Foley, EJ Davis, and Malachi Davis; several great grandchildren; four nieces, Dee (Jim) Harvey, Roseanna Hayes-Moore, Brandy Scott, and Amanda Jones; one nephew, Robert Taylor; two special great nieces, Tiffany (Joe) Wise, and Stacy (Toby) Fox; also numerous great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved son, Ernie Lee Davis; her grandson, Sonny Eliah Taylor; and four siblings, Barbara Taylor, Kay (Bobby) Smith, Jay Taylor, and Larry Taylor.

Nancy previously had worked at Evenflo and Upper Valley Medical Center. She enjoyed completing crossword puzzles and word searches in her down time. She liked to go on walks and loved her furry children, Reece and Buster. Above all else, she adored her family and loved to spend time with them any chance she could get. She loved to "act like one of the kids" and go with them to the store and buy too much candy, and overall made every small event or action fun and full of love.

A service to honor her life will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Kris Geise officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in St. Paris. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. also on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
