BEULAH M. JONES

Beulah M. “Bea” Jones, 88, of Piqua, passed away peacefully at 5:20 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2026 at the Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She was born May 27, 1937 in New Boston to the late Floyd and Anna (Werline) Kerr. She married Robert J. Jones August 29, 1959 in Tipp City; and he preceded her in death June 11, 2015.

Survivors include two sons, David A. (Donna) Jones of Troy, Scott D. (Lorraine) Jones of Cincinnati; five grandchildren, Robert D. (Hannah) Jones, Courtney P. Jones, Steven A. (Kierstin) Jones, Alexander D. (Broderick Knowles) Jones, Madeline K. Jones; and one brother, Paul Kerr of Florida. She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Mrs. Jones worked for many years for the former People’s Savings Bank where she worked in various capacities including Branch Arranger, Security Officer, and Vice President before her retirement. She was a long standing member of Greene Street United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of the Leadership Troy program, a past member of the Altrusa Club, served on the Financial Advisory Board for the JVS, and served on the board of the Troy Scholarship Fund. In her free time she enjoyed playing golf, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family whom she loved dearly.

A service to honor her life will begin at 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2026 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Will Leasure officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greene Street Food Pantry, 415 W. Greene St. Piqua, OH 45356.
