MATTHEW R. WEIGEL
Matthew R. Weigel, 48, of Piqua, passed away unexpectedly at 8:06 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2021 at his residence. He was born February 18, 1973 in Piqua to Marlene C. (Francis) Weigel of Piqua and the late John C. Weigel Sr.
Survivors include his son, Matthew Weigel of Troy; four siblings, Malinda “Lynn” (Jim) Williams, John Weigel Jr., Greg Weigel, and Mark (Jessica) Weigel all of Piqua; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Matt worked for Dave Arbogast Buick GMC for 20 years as a Car Lot Tech. He enjoyed going fishing and hunting and watching NASCAR. Matt loved classic cars and watching the Mecum Auctions. Matt loved to ride his motorcycle as well.
A visitation to honor his life will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters, 121 E North St. Sidney OH 45365.
